The DataPðint program functions on Windows CE PDA’s and not the Palm OS devices.

The current version works on PDA's with Pocket PC 2002, 2003 and Windows Mobile 2003 including Second Edition. May be ported to Windows CE v4 and up and Windows Mobile 2005. The DataPðint program utilizes .NET Compact Framework v1.0 SP3 and uses SQL CE v2.0.

This program will run on all of the less expensive Windows PDA’s as well as the newest and more expensive.  The .NET Compact Framework and SQL CE are provided free with the DataPðint and greatly enhance the speed of the database processing.

The version can be found on the first screen of the program when it is opened.

The trial version is fully functional with the exception of the Data Export function which will allow only three records to be exported in the comma delimited .CSV file.   These three records will have the column headings in the first line followed by two rows of data.

DataPoint requires the .NET support files which are standard on some of the newer PDA's.  Select the trial download that includes the .NET support files for .NET Compact Framework and SQL CE if you don't already have these installed on your PDA.  The species file that is included with the program is colo05.  Refer to the file -  DataPointInstallation2006.htm - for installation instructions.
